Lebanon is a charming small town with a rich history, beautiful neighborhoods, and numerous sites on the National Register of Historic Places. Historic Lebanon’s mission is simple: we use historic preservation to drive positive economic impact in our community.
Incorporated in 1801, Lebanon is the seat of Wilson County, and is approximately 25 miles ease of Downtown Nashville. The city is home to Cumberland University, a small, private four-year liberal arts institution, and the Nashville Superspeedway, which hosts NASCAR and IndyCar races.

Cedars of Lebanon State Park
Fishing. Golfing. Hiking. Horseback riding. And so much more.
Cedars of Lebanon State Park is located in Wilson County and is surrounded by the Cedars of Lebanon State Forest. The park is named for eastern red cedar trees found throughout the area. The trees reminded early American settlers of the famed Biblical cedar forests that thrived across Mount Lebanon in what is now the Mediterranean area. Cedars of Lebanon became a state park in 1955.
Fiddler's Grove
Step back in time as you stroll through the Grove and experience life in a typical early village. With over 60 historical structures and museums, Fiddlers Grove offers something for the entire family regardless of their age.
The historic buildings and quaint backdrop have made Fiddlers Grove a popular place to hold weddings, family gatherings, business retreats, and celebrations of any kind.
Cracker Barrel
Dan Evins opened the first Cracker Barrel Old Country Store in 1969, right here in Lebanon, TN. He had a vision to build an old country store to meet their needs—a place that preserved the ingredients of country life to share with travelers on the road and families from nearby.

Nashville Superspeedway
Nashville Superspeedway stands as Middle Tennessee’s premier racing destination, nestled in one of America’s most dynamic and rapidly expanding regions. The 1.33-mile D-shaped concrete track, featuring 14 degrees of banking, holds the distinction of being NASCAR’s largest all-concrete venue. As a Speedway Motorsports property, Nashville Superspeedway serves as a year-round entertainment venue welcoming families and race fans from across the nation.
